The German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GACIC) organized a visit of Mr. Alexander Radwan, member of the German parliament to visit the assembly line of BMW, Bavarian Auto Group in Egypt. The CEO of GACIC “Mr. Andreas Hergenroether” said that Mr. Radwan’s visit comes among other activities carried out by the German-Arab Chamber to enhance the vocational training in Egypt. The German business supports the vocational education in Egypt as well as the local content strategy through the German Chamber. Worth mentioning that the vocational education is a significant and vital topic to the Egyptian Government. The Chamber is planning to create a German- Egyptian vocational training center for automotive to increase the number of skilled labour in Egypt. This will have its direct effect on creating job vacancies, decreasing the unemployment rate and encourage investments in Egypt. It is notable to mention that Egypt is characterized by its cheap labour and the large areas for investments.
