The Dual Training System Program

FORTE assists the Egyptian Government in its endeavors to restructure its technical education and training system towards a labor market oriented one by the introduction of the dual vocational training. FORTE is supporting the dual system concept in Greater Cairo area in following sectors:

Industrial Mechanics
Electrical and Electronic Installation
Ready Made Garments
Auto Maintenance and Repair
General Administration Clerk
International Transportation Clerk
Cooks
Service and Housekeeping
Weaving
Cooling

The occupational profiles are a three year training program ending with a diploma degree. Throughout the training period and following the principal of the dual system the apprentice will be spending two days per week at school (provides by the Ministry of Education) for theoretical training and four days in company training.
