Memorandum of Understanding Event “Professional Qualification of the Egyptian Furniture Sector”

The German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Egypt “GACIC” in cooperation with Global Project Partners e.V. in Germany “GPP”, the GARANT Furniture Academy in Germany “GARANT Möbelakademie”, the German Federation of Buying and Marketing Groups “ZGV”, the Chamber of Woodworking and Furniture Industry in Egypt “CWWFI”, the Enterprise TVET Partnership “ETP”, and the Egyptian Furniture Export Council “EFEC” are delighted to invite you to attend the Memorandum of Understanding partnership between the German Federation of Buying and Marketing Groups “ZGV” and the Chamber of Woodworking and Furniture Industry in Egypt “CWWFI” for the project “Professional Qualification of the Egyptian Furniture Sector”. The project is funded by the Federal Foreign Office in Germany under the umbrella of the German-Egyptian Transformation Partnership to develop the furniture sector through offering vocational and technical trainings to the Egyptian skilled labour.

The event will be tackling several issues for furniture companies, such as support granted by ZGV to CWWFI, increase of the trade and business between Egypt and Germany, Trip to Germany, which is taking place in May 2013 to visit German furniture factories, as well as attending Interzum fairs. Within this framework, the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Egypt is organizing a Memorandum of Understanding Event on 19th of March 2013 for the decision makers in the furniture sector in Egypt, in order to enhance the business between Egypt and Germany.
